14 bolt rear end

I am trying to separate the carrier to inspect spider gears on a 14 bolt. Should it come apart after removing the ring gear bolts? I've tried prying at the slots at the perimeter and doesn't easily come apart.Suggestions?

Is this the old style full float 14-bolt?

If so, the carrier should separate after the ring gear bolts are removed. Be careful, if it has a limited slip, gov-lock, etc. there are probably springs trying to separate the case halves... Do you have any pictures?

Figured it out... there are 3 screws under the ring gear holding it together... thank you
