1800 in vid cards for Crysis

That's exactly why I bought an Xbox 360. I could buy a 360, a PS3, and a slew of games to keep me busy at work for a year for what it cost that guy to be able to play ONE game the way it was mean to be played by designers.
It took me about 2 weeks to get used to the controller since I haven't owned a console since the original NES. PC gaming has been my focus for many years but I gave up when bioshock wouldn't even run on my 1.5year old PC.

I paid 1100$ for it 2.5 years ago brand new with a 2 year warranty...it couldn't be beat at the time. It just got sold to a girl for a christmas present for her boyfriend. I am going for a 3 Chip DLP 1080p projector (if they get one to market sometime soon) and a power drop down screen next. Which reminds me...I need to start researching that because I am delivering the plasma to the girl when I get home on the 21st.
ohhh...this looks like a viable alternative with a 6x color wheel and single DLP. My little brother gets the rainbow effect but I have to really try on my old school compaq 2x wheel dlp projector.

i got a $300 8800 GT and run crysis full detail at 10-20 fps. On full detail with some settings on very high, high and med I can get 30-35 fps which is more playable. Even on those setting this is the best graphics game PERIOD. Gameplay is an experiance unlike anything else. I think the story/acting could of been better and I dislike the ending as it went from open to being able to explore anywhere on the map to being very linear. The ending was quite dissapointing too and the multiplayer sucks hardcore. However, still worth buying!
