Like the ad says, I'm looking for a 1947-1972 GMC or Chevy short bed. Would prefer a fleet side if it was available in that year. Obviously minimal rust is better. Doesn't have to run or even have a motor or any drivetrain. Roller status would be fine. Let me know if you know of anything. Maybe you've seen one in a field or on the side of a barn or garage somewhere. I've been searching classifieds all over for weeks and haven't found the "perfect" truck for me yet. You can pm or text. Nope. I'm being broad because it'll be my first truck to restore. Those are my requirements. I don't want to narrow it down and get stuck on a certain year and be picky. I've always loved them all. Only one I don't like is the early 60's with the apache hood. But they can be swapped with a standard hood anyways.

I've considered it. But we sold our house a couple months ago. We're living in her parents basement while were building a house. So I don't have a garage to work in for a while.

I have a 66 GMC with a big back window. It is not a roller:-( it is all tore down. Cab, doors, innner fenders, and frame have been soda blasted. The cab is cut for rocker panels and floors to be welded in. I have all the parts(cab corners, floor, and rocker panels. The doors have the usual rust spots in the front and rear corners. The bed sides are near perfect(no rust, just a couple of dings). the hood is in great shape. The front fenders have been patched, but need additional attention. Inner fenders are in great shape and ready for primer. Overall a really solid body and frame with a ton of new parts. The front suspension is gone because I was going to update with a newer K frame and suspension. 67-87 two wheel drive K frames fit with little to no modification. If your interested let me know and I can text you pics of what you want to see. Jeremy 435-580-9401

My dad just told me that he is thinking about selling his 64 Chevy. It is a 2wd, 3/4t, long bed fleetside. 283, 4sp. Not sure how many miles, but it is all original, and he is the 2nd owner. HIS dad bought it new in 64, so it has been in the family since new. Truck is in really good condition. However, the left bedside needs repaired. A guy rear ended it about 10 years ago, and he never got around to fixing it.
If you are interested, I can get you info and pictures of it.

I went and looked at it last night, it's pretty clean, has a few dents, needs both rockers and minor floor pan repair on both sides. Best part is that it's all original and it's all there.
