While down in Price, UT for a family wedding we brought along all the toys.

We ran the Lower Diff hanger trail and a portion of Judgment Day.

JD ate the rear driveshaft so we headed back into town to have a new shaft built.

After installing the new shaft we headed out on a pleasure cruise with the kids and the Quads.

Before dinner we decided to play around in some nearby clay hills.

I let uncle Hans drive while FIL Rick rode right seat. I was riding one of the Quads. This is what I saw when I came around the corner...

No one was hurt, so other than roll it back over there was nothing to do other than try to smile about a really sucky situation.

We fired it up and drove it back to the house.

Uncle Hans is purchasing me the Truck of my choice so I'm looking for a 84-88 X-tra cab with A/C.

Any leads??

Well John, I have been waiting for you to post up some pics, You can sure tell which person is uncle Hans, It has been almost a week and I dont think any one has seen a smile on him yet, Any way it was an intresting ride, not one i would like to do again any time soon, Dam, and to think of all the time I put into getting that bumper on strait!!!!!
let this be a lesson to alway wear your seat belts even when you are just driving down a dirt road in low gear, you never know when you might fall off the road.

Bummer.. Next time you want to check out your shiny new driveline, might I suggest not rolling the vehicle over to get a look... Maybe just bending over, or kneeling on the ground to obtain a good view.

So you're replacing all the sheetmetal right? No sense in building an all new rig. Looks like a relatively gentle tip.. Windshield still looks good ;)

*EDIT k maybe not so much the windshield

C'mon, bearly a scratch. Finally added some character to the old gal. Just think of all the chicks you'll get rolling around like that. After looking at the pics I don't understand how the drivers windshield got smashed?

Other than driver error and complancency, I'm not totally sure how it happened either.

I'd love to buggy it but I was really digging using it for DD duties. The plan is to swap cabs or swap drivetrains.

Every body panel is tweaked. Not a straight panel on her. The only thing worth re-using is the driver/pass glass and the rear slider. The cab is done.

Raw deal :(

I really like that truck, it would have made a great apocalyptic supply hauler :D

I say toss another cab on that chassis and bring her back to life!

I would be all over this!!

Jon, think of the cool factor of the '82... greatest grille of the mini truck series IMO..

Yeah, I agree, I was going to put it on my truck, but after rolling it once I couldn't bear to see the 82 cab get smashed, so its still sitting in the garage in my way.:D

If you want pics of anything specific let me know. Seriously I don't think is a single dent or spot of rust on this thing, it is that clean.
