Whats the issue swapping in the 4.0? My 86 took a 4.0 with very minor firewall massaging

I have no experience in doing this swap, I'm just trying to help my son get it sold. The 2.8 V6 is no 4.0L, but it runs great as is...is $1350 a fair price?

Wait, wait, is this for sale? are you swapping the motor? what did I miss? If you are swapping the 2.8l I WANT the bellhousing. Let me know if you are getting rid of it.

I don't think it is since I was going to give him 600 and we agreed upon it, and I was almost to his house to get it when he called and told me he got offered 650.00 for it so he's taking it. Then to find out it's getting listed back for sale less than 12hrs after purchase for more than double the price that was paid. When I know a 16yr old who really could have used it.

Sorry you feel that way. sounds like your beef should be with the original seller., not my son who happens to be 16 and is trying to make some extra money on the side.
