I like the shape of that front bumper, but is it really fiberglass  ? Also, I'm not familiar with Cherokees, but is there an easy way to get all that plastic off the side?

Well done overall. It's looking a little too JC Whitney for my taste right now, but that's just taste right?

Thanks for the reply. Yes it really is fiberglass. about 1/4 inch thick. The winch plate itself is 1/4 inch steel though. It seems to be pretty strong, i have hit it on rocks a couple times but it only takes of paint and leaves a tiny dent. Ha ha JC Whitney good one ha ha. As for the plastic, it will come off, you just have to pull it out and then slide it the opposite way it goes on, due to the clips that hold it on. If I take it off there will be holes and such left so it will be staying on.

Sweet front bumper. It blends right in. Nice rig. Let all go out and get it dirty. Nothing is cooler on a rig like that than mud caked in the wells.:D

lookin good man, im likeing it a lot more with out the hood scoops and with the vents. how are you liking those tires im thinking bout gettin em.

Thanks, i like it a lot better too, plus it cooled down my engine compartment. As for the tires, i freakin' love them. They have a small hum on the road, but for a mud terrain that agressive its really unnoticable. In the mud they self clean really well, snow they also do surprisingly well (people wont follow so close to you because of all the **** they throw up) And in rocks they have out done themselves many times. Even at around 20 psi they flex enough and form to the rocks and will pull you over almost anything you want to go up. Downside to them is they are a softer rubber, which means they will wear a little bit faster, but my cousin had them on his jeep and said he had them on for four years. I figure that was good enough for me. Also they do chunk slightly on the outer lugs when offroad, but nothing serious. Another thing is the price, kind of expensive but IMO well worth it.

I think I am going to do the air vents on the hood, You can never have enough cooling options. Where did you get the vents? Or did you make then your self.

I agree, I got them from rocky road up in heber. Its www.rocky-road.com They are made for anything and can contor to the hood slightly also. So get on then click on grand cherokee and i think it is under the performance tab. Also, it give you the option on install to cut out the hood supports, i would not recommend this as it will make your hood crease when you shut it and such. Also I would paint them black, i did spray on bed liner just because it stays black for a lot longer and doesnt flake. I also am in a auto body repair class so i painted my hood when i was done just so i wouldnt have any rusting problems, plus it was fading anyway. A little more info then you asked for, but good luck on the intall, if you have any questions feel free to ask.

lookin good man.

You may want to take a look on your roof. Looks like one of your buddies was playing a joke on ya and stashed their spare tire up there.

Ha ha now i know why it says "buried users". Sorry i dont have a dedicated trail rig and cant just throw it in the back. And i will never afford a bumper with a tire carrier. But when im able to throw it inside i will be sure to take some pictures and send them to you.

I know it's a different length than what you'll need. Does that count? Everyone is different. It all depends on how far you have pushed out your axles (or if not at all), what output you have on the t-case, etc etc. bolt in t-case, measure for driveshaft (detailed directions are on Tom Woods' website), have driveshaft built or modified to correct length and joint.

FWIW I don't have a dedicated trail rig. I carry enough gear for 5 days in the backcountry, and spare fuel, and a 35" spare tire in the back of my rig. You can fit a 33" tire in the factory location if you use the j-bolt through a lug hole instead of wheel center.
