Price lowered $2300 OBO. It has a clunk, i think one of the pins from the carrier in the rear came loose and is sliding back and forth clunking on the housing, i need to pull the diff cover off to confirm this, and i will update this when i do.

Selling my 1997 GMC. It is SAS'd with a Dana 44, and has a 14 Bolt in the rear with Disk brakes. It has the 5.7L Vortec, and I believe it has the 4L80E trans also. It runs great, and many new parts from the previous owner. It has new tie rods, new spark plugs, wires, cap, intake gasket, many new sensors, runs awesome. The tires are worn BFG KM's, they will need to be replaced soon, but have a little bit of life left. The body and interior are in great shape, except for one spot on the rear driver side bed that has some rust, along with a few small dents from 18 years of use. The bed has a spray on bedliner that is still in ok shape. The truck is a great platform, but will need some loving to be a great tow rig or wheeler. I assume it has stock gears (3.73) gears based on how it drives with the 37's. If those were changed it would be a rocket ship. the front and rear bumpers are in great shape. It needs to be aligned, but i daily drive it right now, and have no problems. There is no ABS because the SAS so the light stares at you while you drive. If i kept it i would do a Dana 60 in the front and lockers front and rear along with 4.88 gears. For $4200 i will include a 14 bolt Yukon locker for the rear. I am not a Chevy guy, but i wanted a truck and picked this up to build it. Baby coming in march and really wanting to get back into a Toyota is pushing me to sell the old girl. come check it out, it sits at low range off road while i'm here at work, or i live in Orem, off 400 north, so I can arrange to show it. I am open to reasonable offers. Thanks for checking it out. pictures to follow when i get a sec to take some.

More details about the SAS please, did you use a kit and if so, who's? What front springs are you running? Shackles inverted in the rear, stock springs & no blocks?

How does is ride and drive?

I bought it with the SAS done, i'm not sure what kit he used, but i can find out. It drives alright, i had been daily driving it, but it needs to be aligned, and may have a warped rotor cause it has a shimmy when you stop. it isn't a perfect truck by any means, and the price reflects that. It is an amazing platform to start off with, but will need some work done to it. I am flexible on the price as well, but i'm also not in a huge hurry to sell it because having a truck is pretty nice. but yes, if you want to check it out, or drive it, call me, and make me an offer if your interested. the axles are valuable, and it runs extremely well and the springs ride nice. it is a nice soft ride. I have never been a full size guy, or owned a chevy, so there has been a huge learning curve for me, but that has also been fun.

Got a guy picking it up from California tomorrow . I haven't done anything to it. School started and getting ready for the baby left me no spare time. I have not actively been trying to sell it but a guy on pirate saw it and wanted it.
