I feel dumb asking this, but I'm offically clueless...

Where the hell is the rear window switch located, on a '84-'89 Toyota 4Runner?!

My 4Runners dash was partially disassembled when I got it & I have looked high & low for the switch with no luck. I haven't owned a 4Runner before, so I don't know where it's supposed to be.

Anyone?

In the center console behind the t-case shifter. there are two buttons one for the rear window and one for the rear wiper.

Ahhh.... and that explains it all. The center console has been removed. :-\

Anyone have a grey console for a 1st Gen 4Runner for sale?

There are 2 or 3 in the local wrecking yard (St george) and in Cedar. If you dont find one let me know and ill pick one up for you.

Yep, you can with a little modification. I have dual cases, and a twin-stick shifter on the rear case. I just cut out the front part of the console. I'll see if I can snap a pic of mine. Actually I just bought a console and heater for mine, so as soon as I can swap it out you can have mine if you want it.

That would be great! Let me know when the new one goes in & you're ready to sell the other one.
