I was down in Moab this last weekend with some friends, Rob(SUPERFLY), Rawlin, Joe, Sara, and Jacey... we met up with one of the 'Unofficial U4' crews, running Poison Spider Mesa saturday morning.

A number of IH Scouts, some Jeeps - TJ's a ZJ and an XJ, some 4runners, a stock Montero, a brand new TD Jeep Liberty, a LR Discovery, and a backyard Toyota Buggy.... all on the trail together.. i think we even had the Mayor of Montecello in our group..

Rawlin's rig makes mine look small... 42" Iroks

Things were running smoothly until the ZJ broke the front spider gears on a small rock wall that proved to be the ZJ's cryptonite... so, we played around on the rock wall while others tried to revive the Jeep. Joe demonstrated his 'driverless' 4runner trick, and some broke out their RC cars. VIDEO HERE

After the ZJ was back on the road with 2wd, we moved on. No major issues other than a shock mount on the Yota Buggy broke and did something to the ingnition(if i remember right)... fixed that and on the move again.

Onto the waterfall, covered in ice and snow making it a much more difficult, and alot more exciting.Rawlin on the waterfall

The hood got some dents, fender got smashed, and the radiator cracked at the top i think... no broken bones, no broken glass, no major breakages as a result, he was able to limp it off the trail under it's own power...

Here's a pic of a random group of 5 girls from Price down for the day all by themselves on the trail in this Rubi.... talk about a rare sighting...

I had a blast with this group of wheelers! lots of fun! We hit up BFE for a short visit after the PSM run... wish i could check it out during the day... so i'll stop in next time i'm down fo sho...

maybe i'll post up the video of me and Rawlin racing up Dum Bump side by side.... but i'll be adding video links to this post as Youtube allows them to be ready...

Yeah, it was a good time! Mountain Yoats is a cool group to roll with (roll as in hang, and roll as in roll!).

I guess I was busy with the rollover when that group of girls drove by. How the heck did I miss that?? Thanks Jason. I know I can count on you to track down cute girls on the trail and get their pictures.

Nice pics!

I'm glad everyone had a good time. I appreciate U4WDA for leading the "unnofficial" runs, as our official runs (Pritchett, SteelBender, Behind the Rock Arch trail, and BFE) were all full. Needless to say, we had a great turnout!

how did he manage to roll there?

as far as i understand it, he was too far to the right heading down the face.. left driver tire went down, rear passenger tire followed by going up.. kinda like a teeter totter type action on the drivers' rear/pass front tire, and over he went...

so there is that infamous group of chicks!!!

Good trail, Eric unfortunately just took the wrong line after seeing Tom do it.... but in the end it's his own fault and he knows it :p It was all good besides the fan chewed up the radiator, he still drove it out.

deja vu from rattlesnake huh?

There were no girls that drove jeeps when I was growing up in Price... that has to be staged. -_-
