*** SOLD***

Okay fellas, time to mix up my vehicle situation. I like everything about this truck. But its just too big for what I need these days, and I would be interested in sending on down the road and getting something smaller

I have built and maintained this truck as well as I could, with the idea that I would keep it forever. Alas...

The Truck:
2002 F-350
Crew Cab

Short Bed (6.5')
4wd, Auto
148k miles
Lariat, heated seats, power options
Dana 60 front axle
3.73 gears
Exterior: 6.5/10 (small dings and dents accumulated over the years, most before I got it. One smaller area behind right front tire where P/O came down on a rock has some trail rash. It never bothered me, so I haven't looked into doing anything about it.
Undercarriage has approximately "normal" amount of rust for these parts, judging by my other vehicles. Also, since P/O ran 37" M/T's, the wheel wells have been trimmed back just a hair in the corners)
Interior: 6.5/10 (Pretty clean, actually. One minor wear spot on drivers seat where your jeans slide across the seat as you climb in is the only issue with the leather. No cracking. Sunglasses holders up top and surrounding console plastic have come out)

Clean title, I am the third owner. I purchased the vehicle in spring of 2011.

Never been smoked in.

Mods:
2" lift, (Previous owner install)
34" A/T's, rotated every 3k, about 25k on tires, full size spare
Lumber Rack, heavyduty (optional - I modified it to fit the short bed, re-painted it white to match truck)
Tall Leer truck cap, matching (also optional. Its a good one, about $1,200 new, I picked it up off KSL cheaper than that, carpet lined)
New set of OEM 3.73 gears, F/R, new diff fluids (recent install by Kevin at Six States. I had gone to 4.10's but didn't like them, so I went back to 3.73. 2014)
Detroit rear locker (Kevin at Six States, fall 2013)
Eaton E-locker,front (Kevin, Six States, fall 2013)
K&N intake (2012), recently cleaned and oiled
4" exhaust (Previous owner install)
Sprayed in bedliner (P/O)
Warn hubs (way better than the crappy Mile Marker hubs on my last truck)
Hide-a-ball goose-neck hitch in truck bed (never used it)
Gauge Tree - trans temp, pyrometer, turbo boost (P/O)
Ram laptop mount
LED interior lighting

Maintenance/Repairs:
Ford Factory Rebuilt transmission, (Gears in Lehi did install, about 20k miles ago)
New Injectors(Ken Garff Ford in American Fork, 25k miles ago)
New u-joints (SixStates)
Fuel filter replaced every 15k miles
All oil services performed at Ken Garff Ford Dealership every 5k
New coolant at 120k, 140k, Ken Garff Ford
Replaced 2 wheel bearings (Six States, 2014)
Dropped fuel tank and cleaned screens in fuel sending unit (G&R Diesel, 2013)
OEM Alternator at 125k (Ken Garff Ford)
OEM Starter (Ken Garff Ford, 2014)
New OEM CPS (2014)
Dieselsite 203* thermostat (2014)
Rancho 9000 adjustable shocks (2014)

Records for everything

I got this truck originally as a work truck (I'm a landscape architect.) I never towed much with it, mostly hauled an occasional load of plants with it, or personal use.

Drives awesome, no weird pulling, rattling, smells, or smoke.

Lockers work awesome. I did some hills easier in the Ford than my (unlocked) fzj80 and my 03 Montero

Contact me with questions. Located in Alpine.

Price: $16,500, or most awesome offer.

Thanks,
John

I'll get some interior pics up later tonight. There is one small wear spot where your butt rubs the seat as you slide in, but not bad. I drove the truck around SLC today, and considered pulling my ad. Runs awesome! (*tear rolls down cheek*)

Wow! Love this truck! I think Marbryson should have bought this. I would think that I should buy it, so tempting to sell the X but I still use the 3rd row.

Easy there on spending my $, Jim. I'd have to have him swap me for my JKU and some cash on his end. Not sure he's interested in that (or if I am?)

I would love to be cruising that JKU, that's for sure. I'm not sure that a swap is in the cards just yet though - you'd probably have to take a haircut on that sweet jeep to make it work with my bank account!

I've decided to hang on to the truck for now. While a half-ton gasser would be more appropriate for my needs, the newer ones are too much for me to get in to right now, so I'll be putting some more miles on this bad boy...

I'm sure we could strike a deal ;)

I think you're smart to hold onto that truck.

Gears in Lehi just picked up a rebuilt transmission from Larry H. Miller Ford and installed it. The injectors were done at the dealership with stock spec injectors. I had purchased a good warranty with the vehicle when I bought it, and the warranty would only cover OEM stuff, not upgraded parts.

How much of a haircut would I have to take?

:D
I'm not looking to be more than $16,500 into a vehicle right now. So basically, I'm looking to get into a Tacoma in that price range, so....a pretty big haircut.

Maybe you could write off the loss as a donation to a charitable cause?
