...I plan on being there every morning monday through friday. We'll likely take off on friday morning after we check out the vendor displays. ....

The time you spent there last year was invaluable. Thanks for all you have done to help. It is a situation where your time really does get noticed and appreciated.

It all adds up! thank you for your help. And a bigger thanks for helping pick up, that is something that the money can't buy! Plus that is what all of the watch groups will see!

Just a few hundred short of being where we need to be! Give what you can, it all adds up!

As for the clean up schedule:

WHO
Anyone! Anyone can clean. If you are in the area watching or driving past and think about it, stop by, spend a few minutes a give a hand

WHAT
Easy. If it does not belong pick it up. Here is the trick. We are coordinating with the recycling center. This year we are doubling the recycle bins we had from last year. It is a huge help if you can try to sort out the garbage from the recycle goods. Maybe have one person pick up trash and one pick up recyclables. It will save on the sort time later.

WERE
The whole area. The main area gets trashed quickly. But also the short road in seems to pick up lots of empty beer cans from yahoos tossing them out the window.

WHY
PSH is not a Easter Jeep event, or anything official or sponsered. But more of the magnet for the spring breakers who are out for the party or for those who have no trails to run. The PSH area is a great obsticle, and almost a tradition of the Easter weekend. If we don't take care of the area, the BLM will recomend to the Sherrifs office that it be closed down and we will lose the access for the EJS weekend.

WHEN
All week long! Every morning at 6:00 AM, the members of the recycling center will be out to clean up from the night before. They will spend the time picking and sorting. They could REALLY use some help. I know that is early for many of us (me included), but it is when they need help.

In the evenings works well for me and many others. If the sheriff’s office does close PSH (do to rowdy behavior), there will be a command post by the entrance. I have already communicated to them and they know that some may ask to enter in order to clean. They will let you in to clean (not wheel). If there are questions ask for Deputy Brewer.

Last year we had people just wander and clean in the middle of the day as well. Anything picked up in the day will save the morning and evening crews as well. Again, try to sort the recyclables from the trash if you can.

AWESOME! From memory U4WDA made a similar donation last year, plus helped drum up help for the trash pick up! Thank you for your support, and you will have mine too!
