This is the first that I heard of it, but looks like SEMA will be virtual this year.

Taking place Nov. 2-6, SEMA360 will still feature vehicle reveals, education, professional development and product offerings.

I'm 100% with you on that. I know people are trying to keep the activities / events / whatever alive, but to participate in a virtual event doesn't have near the same appeal as attending in-person.
