4) Technology. Same as my other newer fords, I feel like I’m constantly having to interact with my car. Just let me drive already! I don’t need constant notifications about everything. It’s like having a nagging 3 year old following me around while I’m trying to get stuff done asking me what’s that? What’s that? What’s that? Want to hear the most annoying sound in the world?…
I don’t like the electronic parking brake. Hate the push button transfer case. Goat modes are a joke.

My buddies new EB F-150 is a nice truck and with the lift and bigger tires we put on it it's a Desert Cruiser Deluxe. But I've nicknamed it "Effing Nazi Truck". That gawd dam thing nags and nags and nags and beeps and chimes and bonks and gives unwanted advice like nothing I've ever been exposed to. Way beyond annoying. It's an Effing Nazi on wheels.

Sold my bronco today. 18k miles over one year of ownership.

Likes: zippy/great power, good size - classic SUV proportions, independent front suspension great for road trips/zero driver fatigue and speedy dirt roads. Lockers engage super fast and under load. Trail turn assist is cool. Like the styling. Base model is awesome, love the simplicity. Decent mpg’s - 18 with aggressive driving. Excellent value - bigger motor, hard top, 4 door, Sasquatch package, steel bumper, aux switches $44k new msrp. Jeep can’t touch that.

Hates:
1) motor is jumpy. My 3.5 ecoboosts (I’ve had four) are smooth and genuinely fun to drive. This one has way more turbo lag, and goes from no power to crazy power in one lurch. Even bought a pedal commander, no help.
2)Transmission bothers me. It’s different than what they put in the Rangers and f-150s, it’s the smaller one from the Escape for some reason, so maybe that’s it? But I notice all the gear shifting in ways I never do in my wife’s expedition. Miss the 8 speed in my gladiator.
3) frameless windows. Constant catching of the window every time I open the door drives. Me. Absolutely. Crazy. Every. Damn. Time. Maybe good in theory, but freaking annoying in execution.
4) Technology. Same as my other newer fords, I feel like I’m constantly having to interact with my car. Just let me drive already! I don’t need constant notifications about everything. 5) weak front end. I watched too many videos of tie rods or steering racks breaking on pretty minor stuff to feel comfortable pushing this very hard or upgrading tires. Bronco raptor beefed things up, but $$$$$$ and fender dysplasia keeps me off that train.

Overall it was a fun vehicle, but once a vehicle approaches $50k I get annoyed easily by these type of things, so ultimately I would end up driving my tundra more and leaving this parked. So I sold it while I could still make money on it

My wife wants one when the JT is paid off. We'll see what she thinks. :D
