Okay so i've had a few 22RE's in my day and I've never had an issue with this part, or really even known it was there.
A few weeks ago Strautins came by to look at my rig, and while he was on a test drive the throttle started to stick. I never had the issue before, and just recently had the rig down in Moab with no issue.
It was kind of a cold day when he came, a day or two after we had little over a foot of snow at my place.
After Strautins left I was tinkering with it trying to figure out what was making the throttle stick. I identified this part as the culprit. I have no idea what it does, why it's there. It's a small diaphragm that has about 6 inches of vacuum hose under it with some sort of breather attached.
The diaphragm was sticking in the up position not allowing the throttle to return to a normal position.
Finally had a day off today with some nice weather so I figured I would go tinker again and shoot some photo's. It doesn't seem to be sticking now, but I would like to replace what ever it is, so I don't have this problem out on a trail
