I aquired a 24ft camp trailer BP for free last year and have had plan's to convert it into a trailer to haul wheelin vehicle/s.It has drop dual braking axle's-5lug.I assume they are #3500 axles, frame is a C channel construction and has newish trailer rated tires.

I realize I will need to reinforce it quite well,I can do that, not a problem. What my question is can I haul 2 light weight vehicles with it with safety in mind??? Between the 2 should weigh right around #5000lbs

My trailer is a converted travel trailer. It has a 2x4 C-channel frame, and i added 2x4 C-channel on each outer edge as well. With my 5000lb+ toyota, it does great.

There is a thread to the build up somewhere...

I have been hauling my rig around on a converted travel trailer for close to 10 years. It has been all over the western US to many many uroc comps, moab, etc. I did run some angle iron down each side and made some new cross braces. Other than that it is still the way it was then.

I saw you fly by the house yesterday with the Zuk flat-towed behind your new Dodge CTD. Now, get busy and build that trailer (grin).

Chad Taylor from Mount Pleasant built a haul trailer from a camp trailer just like you plan to do. It turned out great, but it only hauls one vehicle. I'm sure your's will be OK for the weight, but weight distribution with 2 vehicles could be tricky.
