Check out the U4WDA Compass magazine a couple issues back, there was a giant article about the issue. In addition several RME members are very involved in the case and part of that $25k came from U4WDA and member clubs.

there's gotta be 3-4 threads right now buzzing over this same issue..

the $300 isn't the point.. it's the principal behind the $300 fine. It should never have been written, as the road should never have been 'closed' by officials. i'm hoping theres been a breaking point here, that the people are now coming around and starting to fight the discrepancies, and wrong acts performed by the BLM and FS...
