26 Hour guys trip to Cainville

[Gravy]

Wednesday night we decided to head down to Swingarm city. 10/22/14
Left SLC at 8 8:30pm got down there and unloaded by 1am.

Hanksville Gas station at 1am looking for bottles to use for extra gas...




Literally could not see a thing so we did some exploring with headlamps... spooky.




To give you some perspective: This fin illuminated by the headlamp is the side of the giant fin at the top of the photo 2 images below this one... absolutely enormous!


To Bed about 2am.

7:38am Woke up to one of the most incredible sunrises ever.











Fixed Lukes bike, gummed up carb. Main jet was almost completely clogged shut.

Nutty terrain out there


Loaded up and out of there by 5:30 pm.

Some cool scenery on the way back




Unloaded and home by 10:30 pm.
Awesome trip. Felt like I was 21 again.
I was a bit tired the next few days though.

We enjoyed our trip down there earlier this year.. Need to go back.

Fun video! Looks so much like the area out by Grand Jct airport, with Skinny Ridge, etc. It's funny how wide those ridge lines are though, some of them look 3' wide. In GJ most the ridge lines are about 8" wide and they roll right off the edge.

Liked the rear-facing camera on the bike, I've shot that way a couple times and it's always fun to see a different perspective. Nice edit too!

We didn't get much video of the skinny skinny stuff, there was tons that was very very narrow (6-8") Too busy being sketched out to video it. Luke tipped over the edge of one and we thought he was a gonner. Luckily he stopped halfway down.

Luke did this edit. I like his "mass appeal" style short edit.
