Seems to me this site has the same amount of drama. No point. Just like there, here EVERYONE has to put their 2c in. And there's nothing wrong with that.

The whole argument started over following the manufactures instructions... Lol... Why would anyone go against it let alone show some good reasoning with proof to go against it. Oh there is a big difference between this site and Pirate. If you can't see the difference that is your problem. It's been said, here we tend to respect each other based on mutual respect. You come in here disrepecting people, maybe not directly or in an outright rude way and expect people to respect you. Here you can ask a simple question that has been answered numerous times and get and answer instead of getting flamed. I know what you are going to say. You are going to turn around and say that you have never once disrespected anyone here. If you need the response to that one just go ahead and read back through this whole thread and you will find it.
I'll be the first to admit I occasionally enjoy going over to Pirate and flaming some dumb noob that asks a stupid question in the wrong section. You will never find that happening here and if you do it won't last very long before it gets shut down. I won't do that here mainly because I enjoy the friendly people on this site and some day I might need to call on anyone one of them to help me out. Although I may not know very many of the people on here I promise you it's not very difficult to get someone to help out. Unless of course you have gone and pissed of the entire RME community which I think you have been pretty successful at accomplishing.
With that said good luck in your future endeavors on this site. Maybe you will get some sense and start listening to the advice of people who actually know what they are talking about.

If I have disrespected anyone it's because someone disrespected me first. I'm all for good tech! But when someone says my tech is wrong and can't prove it then of course there's going to be an argument.
lol, great tech! Can you explain to me how putting a 60 in takes away an inch of lift? If anything, the larger tubes will probably GAIN you an inch of lift. I guess you must not not understand the difference between ground clearance and lift because it's not clearly explained in the owners manual.

Ya, from Ogden? Congrats on that accomplishment. Graduating top of your class in HS sure does look good on a resume 10 years later. I walked 2nd and spoke, but no employer I've ever worked for could care less.
Look bud (err, I mean Chris), you post a joke thread and it gets moved to Chit-chat--why would I post tech in it? I have a CB, it works great. I used it on the trail probably 50+ days last year. Why would I post how to tune a radio when that BASIC information (aimed at people who won't ever go further than turning a knob) is available in the owners manual. I can read the owners manual in my jeep and it tells me what kind of oil to use and how much too, but is that tech? Should I post that up? No, it's basic knowledge my 8 year old nephew could figure out.
So, this is why people are giving you a hard time. All things considered, I think you're a pretty good sport having taken the teasing in pretty good spirits. When you tried to intimidate, that's when I went into entertainment mode because, this is chit chat and that is what I like to do. I throw words at people, not punches.
So, keep driving, keep acting like a fool, keep wondering why every post is an incendiary device for people that have knowledge beyond an owners manual, and most of all keep taking super sweet mirror shots of yourself in the truckstop bathroom. If you look at Cody's join date you will notice it was back in 2001 so 6000+ posts in 10 years is well you do the math and then tell us how much hot air he blows per day.
So is that one inch of lift lost or one inch of ground clearance lost? And which is stonger? I can't for the life of me figure out if a D44 is strong enough for me.

If I want to talk to Boyce I am perfectly capable of finding that information on my own. Now I don't need to call Boyce because I really do have that information stored in my brain already and I don't need to get the reasurance from anybody else.
You might be surprised but most of us here are pretty good at google, we get lots of practice when we want to learn something.
