3-7-09 Snakes Weather/ Conditions

I am pondering going up the tomorrow, but I am wondering what we will expect weather wise.

What has it been like up there, and now that it is snowing in Provo is it snowing also on the snakes? Hate to drive all the way there and end up with lots of snow. I know that up on the benches they are getting a fair amount of snow, so, obviously if it is like that I would not want to go in my soft top jeep.

Never can figure out how to get from RS to Con anyhow. I followed someone once, and have not been able to figure out how to go about it since...
 
I am going to plan to be out there at noon as well. CJ7 and no tow vehicle, so perhaps I can see you there. With the mud I would not mind going up with an escort...;)
 
Well, I went out and the CJ would not start at all.

Turns out I left the pesky little interior light on since Wed. Ergo, had no battery. Hooked it up to the WJ to jump it... nothing, a LOT of nothing... SO turned the WJ around and drug the CJ around the town to pop the clutch, well, I have a back flow valve issue in the carb, so no fuel was getting there and thus still no luck. Had to take it to Autozone to get them to charge it up. Started right up this time around. On the way to the trail VERY late, sigh, but I should be there in half an hour or so, so, if anyone is still headed up that way watch for me.

Wow, no snow at all, and only the least touch of mud! Great trip! I ended up really with a late start today, but I had a lot of fun. Got to the trail around 3:00 and spent the better part of two hours on RS, Con, and some of the little trails there abouts.
