3rd Gen 4Runner Lift Options

I am looking to install a lift on my 97 4Runner. It will be for my DD but I want a capable off-road rig as well. Ride comfort is not a huge issue for me I just want what will work the best. I have kind of narrowed it down to two options and wanted to see what those with experience had to say on the topic. For the front I am deciding between:

Toyota TRD Tundra Front Coils with Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks
OME 883 Coils with OME shocks

For the Rear:
91-97 FJ80 Land Cruiser front coils with Bilstein 5125 shocks
OME 891 Coils with Bilstein 5125 shocks

I am open to other options as well if anyone has found other ways to lift.

I am leaning towards the Tundra/FJ80 lift. Where would I most likely be able to find those coils? Junkyard or someplace else?

Thanks for the help!

get in touch with Kurt at cruiseroutfitters.com He is an incredible resource, and a really nice guy. He's a great guy to know if you've got a toyota, and he has installed more lifts and logged more offroad miles on toyotas than anyone I know.

I am running the exact lift you have mentioned. I don't mind it at all except for the fact that the rear sits stink bug. If you can get over that fact then it's great. It handles very well on the road. I havn't made it out wheeling yet in mine but hopefully very soon. To find the rear coils I posted an ad for them in the wanted part of the classifieds on here. I went with 305/70/16 for tires and they are a little big for the front. All and all a good way to go I think.
