Can a title ever be converted back? Forget about all the inspection stuff. I just need a rig with a legitimate title. I can get plates as long as I have a good title. I only want plates to get around Moab. I have no desire to trailer from trail to trail.

Nope. IIRC, when I converted a past rig, I was told that once you go OHV, you can never go back.

That sucks. I would just need a clean Utah title. I could get that transferred and plates sent to me.
There are guys that have gotten the title changed once it was OHV, just like chevycrew said though, it needs to pass a state inspection, I believe you have to take it to the highway patrol.

I finally got together with Luke last night and crawled around the buggy. The rear seat will hold the 2 small boys just fine, and the rig is in good condition. We're pulling the trigger on this one :p as soon as the bonus money shows up. Thanks James for posting the info and thanks Luke for building a buggy that really works well. See you at EJS.

I think we spotted you yesterday on Center St. in North Salt Lake - were you towing your Scout East on Center St. at 3:00 PM?

I am trying to decide if the Scout stays or goes right now. The closed cab with kick-ass heater is hard to give up. It's been the official warm up vehicle on many outings, especially for buggy people :D. If you are really interested, let's talk some. I happen to have the original transfer case from your Scout, after 1 or 2 owners after you sold it.

Update on the 4-seat Toy buggy. Bec and I brought it home on Saturday. The young boys are really excited about riding along at EJS. We just left it on the trailer since we head out this Friday. The Toy buggy will be behind the '03 Dodge dually and the Sami buggy will be behind the '99 Suburban. We will be at EJS until Easter Sunday, then back to the grind. Honk, wave or just shout as us on the road or in Moab. We enjoy trailing with others. I'm gunning on Metal Masher on Good Friday, and running Moab Rim on Big Saturday with the RR4W people. Other days aren't committed yet. No pictures at this time - you will have to catch us on the trails. Hope to see a lot of fellow RME folks at EJS.

Luke said that he would be in Moab Easter weekend, so we can give him another ride in his buggy. Will you be in Moab at the same time? Chad and Jeannette are arriving for the car show. Don't know anyone else's plans for now.

Im not sure what we are doing yet, I have a desert race on the 6th, racing a Ragnar race in San Diego on the 19th, going to Vegas Supercross may 4th... so Ill have to see if my finances allow me to hit Moab EJS or CS. might be broke after all the racing.
