ok i have a 94 runner, 3.0, and 143,600 miles. it was starting to act like it was misfire when i babied it when it was cold. but as soon as i got on it or let it get warm up it drives fine. so i thought maybe just a tune up would help sence it was alittle over do. but nothing knew at all maybe alittle worst:-\, i dont know haven't really driven it much sense. i was thinking maybe an EGR valve but dont want to go out buying a bunch of other things to find the right problem. any ideas/suggestions would help. thank you

i just did a tune up and the plugs didnt look that bad. ill have to try the MASS, rith now im replacing the fuel filter, i was doing some reading and someone said that they never go out that they was suppossed to last for life is that true?

did the fuel filter and nothing new, tried to smack the MASS and nothing changed im clueless to what it may be. do think maybe injecters?

it could be the mass still, no they dont last a life time. The door that opens and closes for the ait intake has a arm that trails along a circuit board, it can wear out spots and then the computer dosent know the air flow and gives the wrong amount of fuel. It is pretty common on the 3.0. But it sould also be the tps there is a test for it but i cant remember what the ohms are susposed to be look on yotatech.com

thank you sparticus that i will have to try out for sure tommorrow.
Spork, i already replaced all of that and everything looked good. all the rubber on the wires looked perfect. but thank you for the input
