4runner trans probs

Hey guys I picked up a toy not to long ago knowing there was something up with the tranny. At first I thought the guy didnt know what he was talking about. The way he described it, it sounded like just a linkage problem. But as I mess around with it more I have no idea what it is. What it does is you can shift through every gear and it will not budge at all, Even when placed in 4 wheel drive . Any ideas would be very helpful. It might be blown but I think it is something else. Let me know

yep probably just make sure the linkage is moving the shift arm, if not it's TOAST but throw some trans x in and rev it around a bit and you might make it move
