My dad's old '74 Honda CB350f is back in my garage!
I gave it to my brother when I bought the BMW, he is moving and said he doesn't think he will ever get a chance to work on it, He has 5 kids from 2-16 years of age.

I had it running fairly well until SLC decided to switch to methanol or whatever it is... So it's basically sat for over a year, at least he garaged it.

I may have shown this before, but here is a pic of me and my dad back in '74

And me with my son trying to remake the pic, in front of the same house.

I scored some 4 into 4 exhaust for it shortly after I gave it to my brother that never made it to him, after I get the carbs cleaned up again I will see about installing them.
I'm stoked to have it back!

Sweet. I have a CB400something sitting on the side of my house waiting for some love, but it doesn't look nearly that good.

You can get an additive that takes care of the ethanol, it's called something star something :D. Works really well, it's in a clear bottle, blue in color and is sold at autozone.

Thanks guys!
Man, I don't like me in that pic of me and my son, I look heavy... but it's a great shot, Amazing what a couple years or running will do!

I removed the carbs and ran the small parts through the ultrasonic at work and got it all put back together and it's working great so far! While I was out in the garage I figured I would see about fitting the 4 into 4 exhaust I picked up for $20 a couple summers ago.

From this.

That is such a cool bike! My 1st bike was a '69 Honda CB 175 with 2 cylinders, it hadn't ran in over 10 years... bought it at a neighbors garage sale for $20 I borrowed from my mom, I was 14 at the time. She was alright with me buying the bike because she didn't think I would be able to get it to run... little did she know. :D

Not only did I eventually get it running and rode it around for a little bit, its sparked a two wheeled obsession that has been with me ever since. I can totally understand how an older bike can bring back some great memories with you and your family, it's very cool to see you getting this thing back on the road and shined up again.
