8 hours later.......

8 hours later and my 4runner now looks like this. I decided to go with the drop hanger rather than the double shackle setup, and so far I like it. I still need to buy new shocks and have yet to measure for that, cause Im too damn tired.

Tim! That looks way good, looks like you did it right.

The rear Drop Hanger is the way to go, the Shackles have the perfect angle & the Front Hanger should slide over those rocks as you gring over 'em. Nice....

Are those shackles pretty heavy-duty? Cause they'll be taking some hits, sitting that low.

They are budbuilts 3/8" Steel ones, and I still need to paint them before they rust up. I was thinking about welding a support in the middle of the shackle but I don't know what kind of good that would do. Im glad my auto shop teacher caught me before I completely welded the rear hangers on because I had them at just barely less angle than that without weight on them. They would have been like flat or somthing with weight.

Are you going to get the front springs in before flexing out the new mods?

Nah, I am thinking about lowering the front a bit anyway just so I get only flex from the rear.....¿ ¿ Yah I hope to do the front springs tommorow.
