I've got a 89 runner with SAS and stacked t case. It seams to me that the slide section of the drive line is worn out. Is there a way to replace, repair, rebuild this part or do I need to replace the drive line? Why I think it is worn out is I can wiggle the drive line at this point and it has a lot of movement. Any help is great thanks

It can be repaired and you have lots of options, but locally I would call this guy: Curtis Tatton at Tattons Drive Line Service: 801-685-0056

Thanks any idea on repair cost?

I'm not exactly sure, but a new slip-spline apporx 7" long should be around $70-$85... you’re better off calling though and explaining to them you want the slip spline replaced on a 1980's yota drive shaft (whatever the front axle year is). No need to mention your solid axle swap or the t-case doubler, just give them the dimensions from Yoke to Yoke while sitting flat on the ground and take your old shaft in to be modified...

Local yota 10" long slip kit: http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/index.php/long-spline-drive-shaft-kit-10-inch.html

The best of the best (IMHO) is from Jesse at High Angle Drivelines (HAD) http://www.highangledriveline.com/toy.html
