I've run the OME 882's on both my Tacomas and I've got plenty of customers running them on rigs with no issues. You will likely have accelerated CV boot wear, but nothing out of line. Say a stock CV boot would normally be good for 100k, your lifted one might last say 75k? Make sense?

I doubt the CV boots have ever been replaced on my 4runner. :-\

Thanks for you help Kurt.

So whats the diffrent between a OME881 vs OME882.

On your site Kurt you have the 882 as the heavy load spring (110-240 LBS) with your HD kit. On the ARB site they have the 881 as there heavy load spring (110-240 LBS)?

Looks like the only diffrence is the lift amount 881's = 1.25", 822's = 1.50".

~1/2" of additional lift on the 882's. Coil specs here:

Wow, I thought I replied to this...guess not. What I was going to say was:

I've never been more impressed with the OME kit I recently got from Kurt (I used the 882s as well). The install is easier then any Jeep lift I've done (including Wranglers, Cherokees, Grand Cherokees, CJs, etc). The hardest part is getting the struts assembled. I went through the same thing you're finding, no one would touch them because they weren't their parts  So I went and bought a 20 ton press and made my own setup :D. I had a 3" Toytec space on my truck before this lift and with the OME lift, I sit identical to what I had before, however I expect that to settle a little. My truck rides tons nicer, it's a solid ride. I'd recommend in to anyone even thinking about it. Also, if you want to come out to Riverton, I'll help you assemble your stuts.

The lift has been put on hold. I have to buy a new set of tires to pass inspection, so the lift will have to wait in tell mid summer :( . I'm planning on getting 265/75/16's since these will give me a 1" taller tire for when i do get the lift.

MY lift dreams have come true. I walked in to a to good to be true deal, and had to jump on it. Got the 882/890 combo installed for under $900. Atleast I think it's a good deal. :)

Meh, about the same as you would pay other places including the trim spacers and LSPV bracket if not a tad more.
