SO I'm replacing an inner tie rod, pulled it off and noticed a little play in the rack and pinion, not in and out but 1/16th to 1/8 inch front to back. Is it normal to have some play there?
there is an adjustment that i know of on the d/s there is a big hex nut cap and if i remember right you can take that off and tighten the inside. i cant remember exactly how though.
