I love this part. "If you are warrior who is legally authorized to carry a weapon and you step outside without that weapon, then you become a sheep, pretending that the bad man will not come today. No one can be "on" 24/7, for a lifetime. Everyone needs down time. But if you are authorized to carry a weapon, and you walk outside without it, just take a deep breath, and say this to yourself..."Baa.""
 
Thank You. Made several copies for the relatives next door, and others, who refuse to take responsibility for their own protection. They say that if they need help they can always call or come and get me (I am prepared and they know it), or call and wait for the police (when seconds count). LOL.

I loved that part... take a deep breath and say Baa!!!! Cracked me up when I first read it!
 
Lt. Col. Grossman is a legend in the LEO training world. I high recommend BUYING and reading his books "On Killing", "On Combat" and especially for these days "Stop Teaching Our Kids to Kill".
 
Why did it make you uneasy? Larry Mudget is a very knowledgable guy. Made it through watts riots and Rodney king riots as an LA swat guy.

Because it made me realize I have not prepared my family for an emergency. It wasn't the guy, it was just the fact that I need to get armed and trained.
