My brother has a 31 spine ARB in his 9" that he is thinking about upgrading to 35 spline shafts. Is it possible to get just the side gears and make his existing ARB 35 spline? Thanks. My searching has come up fruitless.

Most likely yes. Get the serial number off the ARB case, and call ARB tech support and they can tell you for sure. In some other models there have been changes over the years, some of which prevent part swapping. I don't know about the 9" specifically for that.

I switched them in my dana 44 ARB.. Like Carl said, get the model number and call them direct.
