Adjustable control arm nut stuck

Okay maybe I am a sissy but I am trying to adjust my lower control arm length.What should be a simple 10 minute process has taken over and hour and counting. The jam nut is completely stuck. It will not budge. I hve tried breaker bars, lubey shi* and still nothing. Actually its 1 on each arm. With the heim on the end there is no way to get an impact on it. I am gonna maybe try heat tomorrow. Anyone else had this problem. What are your suggestions?
 
Turning it the right way?

I once spent a while trying to free Rockwell lug nuts on the other side of the truck until I saw the R on the studs. OOPS. :D
 
I should be, I am turning it the same direction the opposite 1 tightens. Unless I am thinking wrong that should be the right way. I have done it before so I wouldn't put it past me.:-\
 
look at the threads and see what way they would turn the nut to lossen.
go get some pb blaster from harbor of parts store and spray the sh t out of them.
you dont have the type drilled with locking allen head scew do you?
these are long arms that you can see the threads right?

No locking Allen and yes you can see the threads. I shot the shi* out of it with pb blaster today, gonna let it sit before u give it another try.

I have til thursday to get them off, then it's goin on the trailer and headed to Moab. If all else fails I will jus wheel the shi* out of it :D

It will immediately break in half, you will then destroy your entire front suspension, spear the oil pan with something, grenade your motor, a wheel will fly off into a bus full of nuns and crippled orphans, which will crash into a van full of missionaries, and you will feel PRETTY cool THEN, let me tell you.

hehe I hope you get this off. I fought with a draglink for a second today before I just loosened the entire end of it and then the jamnut came off no problem hahah

:D Yeah let's hope that doesnt't happen. The motor okay, I have been looking for a reason to buy a new one.

That's a good idea. Since I got the other end off maybe I can twist the control arm. Why didn't that ever cross my mind.
Thanks guys gonna give it another shot after work.
