We had a day off from work on Friday to do some sort of sport. I decided it would be a great oportunity to get some people from work out to do some off-roading. It was the first time some had their Jeeps out and the first time doing any kind of off-roading for some of them. We had a great time and deffinately added some people to the off-roading scene. We almost had the Toyota go over on the rock trying to doa pose and had a YJ brake the shackle brackets off. It was a good thing I trailered my CJ down because we trailered his back. We kept to the easy stuff and enjoyed the scenery. Here is a link to the pics I took. I will add more when I get what the others took.

even though it seems like nothing you are just parking on the grass but you have to take certain things into account .if every group that went up there park on the grass it would all be gone and cause even more erosion in the area.so please the next time you go up stay on the trail and off the grass

The place you see had a burn pit so I figured it was a back country camp site. If it wasn't then I know better next time.

there are burn pits all over AF .you have people who don't care where they make a fire or hang out.if you really want to get into it most camp sites off trail up there are illegal but the FS looks the other way .

Thats fine. It was my first time up there and it was the only time we weren't directly on the trail. I believe in staying on the the trail and if I knew it wasn't a campsite I wouldn't have stopped. I saw places up there where people had gone off the trail and created huge rutes in the mud. It made me mad to see it so believe me when I say it was an honest mistake.

Looks like you had a good time, I can not wait until I get to make a run up through A/F in my heep.

Looks like the weather up there on Friday might have been a bit nippy.
