I spend 200 every morning to put in my machine, and only get 48 gallons. My machine holds 80...

I spent a glorious summer in '98, "spending" $0.96/gal for gas in South Carolina. I remember thinking "damn, $1.60 for gas? Gaaawwwwllly that's gettin' up there".

When I started driving, gas was $1.01 a gal and people were complaining about it :D It seems there is one thing that remains consistent, gas is always too expensive :p

Nice! I love that it's from the Wellington Walker's. That's my favorite gas station cause it means I'm on my way to Moab. To bad they don't have gas prices like that anymore :(

It would be cheaper if when you filled up that half of it didn't pour out all over the ground from underneath your truck. ;)

I lived in Price at the time and I always filled up on the way out and topped off when I got back from Moab. Man that used to be an easy drive. :D

When I started driving gas was...... Umm, nevermind.

Let's just say I drove for a few years befoe it broke a dollar a gallon. Do you remember when it hit a buck and the pumps couldn't handle the extra digit? That's when we started buying it by the litre, but only for a very short time thank god.

I was in Hawaii in the mid 70's and the national news kept talking about gas going to $1 but in Honolulu it was already $1.10
$20 to drive the GTO around the the Island a few times
When I started driving I worked at a Union 76 station and a benefit was free gas saving me the $5 it would cost to fill up.

I remember riding my brothers mini bike to the chevron at 13th east and 8600 south, 9 cents to fill it up. now what year was that for those of you who live in Sandy... no light and only gas station.
