Well since I need some new springs and I can't afford Coil Overs.. I was looking at making some. I know some toyota guy's that used to run these and they loved them.

Have any of you ran them?
Flexy?
Cost,,,?

I'm thinking 50" fronts, and 60" rears..

Input?

It is about the same cost to go coilovers...they run about $600 a set(2 packs)

but I have heard good things about them...I have a friend that tried all kinds of things to get rid opf his spring wrap(besides a traction bar:rolleyes: ) and no matter if he was SOA or SUA he couldn;t do it till he got a set of Alcans...

I'm not sold on the coil overs and the weight of my Cruiser..
On the front, I would stay with leaves. check out camo's rig, he runs those 44044 on the front of his, but he is kinda a pansy wheeler, ain't he.

I think you may lose some of that lift after a good wheelin trip, then talk to best spring or whatever in payson, Eric a six states knows those guys pretty good. They will build whatever you want.

Yes offroad friendly, I'm guessing that comment is referring toward AAA's attitude, "No! WE DON'T SELL LIFT KITS!!" Best Spring will build what you want. They don't ask or try to dissuade you, they just do what you say. Chucky had some waggy's built there with 3 inches of offset.

having the springs made rather than buying the ranchos...I have heard good things about the ranchos but my personal experience with ranchos has never been very good...FWIW

I agree with the Rancho Suspension Shet.

If I can get the springs made I can move the front axle forward 2" and the rear axle back 4 ",,, giving me the needed 100" wheel base ;)
