Alljeep's "WOTR fix your rig station"

We just wanted to post up in here and remind all of you who are going to WOTR that we'll have a station with tools, welders, torch, air, and common breakage parts to get your rigs up and going. Whether you have a stock cherokee on 31's or a buggy on 42's, we'll be happy to help you out with any repairs you need! We want everybody to be wheeling, all weekend! I personally am very grateful to a lot of people on this board who have helped me either get off the trail, or get back wheeling after something broke, and we want to offer the same help to anyone in need this weekend! We will have an enclosed trailer marked "fix your rig" hopefully near the metal building out in the open. PLEASE feel free to drive, pull, or push your rig -or ask us for help- to get your rig up to our station so we can get you back on the trail.

We are not charging anything for the help, we just want to help!

We will also have some common shafts, u joints, etc. to replace broken parts. We are also not doing this to make a killing on parts that you must buy to get back on the trail, but we may need to charge at least our cost for parts used.

But if a bracket breaks and needs to be welded, or you need help installing your spare driveline, come on over! We will be wheeling this weekend as well, but will have our phone numbers on a sign on the trailer, so you can call us and we'll head over to give you a hand if we're not there.

I hadn't really thought of that. I guess if we help you out and you want to donate, we can use that donation to further help out the next guy, or to buy hot dogs for the next trail clean-up or something but I definitely don't want people to think that we're doing this expecting donations. The best way you can donate is to hit us up next time you need some parts, or tell your friends to!

WOTR is "Winter on the Rocks." Every January WOTR happens in St. George, which is an amazing place to wheel! the Utah 4×4 Club and Canyon Country 4×4 Club put on the event, and Vendors such as Alljeep.com sponsor raffle prizes and have booths to show off product. A good chunk of $$ is raised for the off-road cause, and good times are had!

We're trying this "fix your rig station" and hoping that it works out well so that we can continue to do it at other events also.

Too bad you can't make it down! There are always people heading down to St. George though, so keep your eye on the upcoming trip thread and definitely make the trip sometime! Worth it!

I just finished loading up the ready welder, the CO2 and air tools, the bag of tabs and brackets, some heim joints, various U-joints, and some spare axle shafts.

Wheel your stuff hard, if you break it come and see us!

We'll have 2 welders, so you should be covered!

I just loaded up a bunch of spare 4340 shafts, u joints, D60 service and kingpin kits, welder, torch, tools....I hope we can put them to good use!

Sounds like a great time. I will put if on my radar for next year. I would really enjoy getting out with a bunch of experienced wheeler to learn new skills. Have a great time and thanks for the info.
