So I decided a bit ago to repair and possibly ride or sell an old PK Ripper frame I have had in storage for some 25 years. I know there are a bunch of bike nuts on here so I was hoping somebody might have an idea on how to go about fixing the break.
It's a classic upper seat post clamp break, right on the upper cross tube.
I was thinking of doing what they did on the second generation frames kind of.
Was thinking of making something that sleeved over the upper tube and rear Y in some way then weld it all down. So what do you guys think would be the best way? Is there anybody on here that would be willing to try....lol?
