Jenn recently interviewed Amanda Palmer (of the dresden dolls) for the city weekly, and went down to check out the show and meet her. Needless to say there weren't many guys there, and the ones that were, well lets say they weren't "mens men"![Laughing  ](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
This was the second time I've seen her play live. Even if it's not your cup of tea, she puts on a great live show.

The highlight for me was the opening band. The Builders and the butchers were a 180 from what I expected to hear at the show. Jenn bought their CD while we were there. Check them out on itunes or myspace if you get a chance.

"bottom of the lake", "black dresses" are great starters.
