american fork canyon today

a bunch of people from uooc and U4WDA went up american fork canyon to help the forest sevice. they needed some help moving some logs out of the river by silver lake and wanted us to report what condition the trails to forest lake and mineral basin. well it was a very fun day and mineral basin is finally open yeah. just once you get up there you will start to run into some snow which made it even more fun. i hope by us helping the forest service they will keep our trails open i'll try and post some pics later

yeah

yep that mess is all cleaned up i didn't do it personally but someone else did and now you can get by. i was assigned to go up to forest lake and clear that road

I went up to Mineral Basin today, Sunday, just to check it out. Two things caught my attention... first, that's a lot of water! The river sure is full, and it makes for some very fun wheelin, new twist on an old trail. Second, that's a lot of good lookin jeeps. Props to the local boys, I've been on the road with work for the last six weeks, and saw more nice rigs today on my little Sunday drive, than in the last six weeks all together.
