A bonanza. Been in one of them many times. Spent a lot of time in the air with my father and brother. Brother current flies a Gulfstream. My father’s last planes were a Cessna 421 and his personal favorite was a 340 with the Riley Rocket Jet Prop Conversion and Radar. Fast little twin.

Ha ha....No....Not quite.... I'm very much so putting the cart before the horse. I started flying in November. I probably won't have my license for a couple months. I do have about 50 hours now though. I've been flying quite a bit. It's going to be quite a jump though going from a Cessna 152 to a V-tail Bonanza ha ha! Anyway....they're beautiful and I've been coveting them for quite some time now. It's for sure a big day for me!

Will do! I plan on heading down there in the next few weeks. It's an absolutely beautiful plane. The dark section is like a chameleon paint, it's somewhere in between purple, maroon and teal. Someone went pretty crazy on the paint job. I could take or leave the flames but everything was very well done on it!

....and it's fast and climbs like a beast!

Just make sure they kept the balance right when they painted it. Those planes have a notoriously small COG envelope, and the forked tail is not very trim friendly. Get some specific training on that thing if you can as well.

Yeah. They did the weight and balance. I have the report. The paint job was quite extensive, the pictures don't quite show it. I'll be keeping a close eye on the weights. You don't want to risk being tail heavy.

Yeah. The v-tail isn't an easy plane to fly. They build speed quickly and are very easy to over speed. Early in their production pilots would over speed the plane and the tail feathers would flutter and break. They since have all been fixed to amend that issue but it gave them a spotty history.
