another lucky day

This morning going onto I-15 I was doing about 85-90 mph, my registration expired in January, I didn't pass inspection because of fender flares and my tail light was burned out. :-\
I know all this because the UHP that pulled me over told me.
He said this was a warning and said to have a good day

Well my luck ran out.
Kristina called and her clutch wasn't working and they were at 90th S Redwood rd.
I'm at 13th S 10th E so I drove out there and put fluid in and bled the slave cylinder and it looked ok, no leak. We did make it to 21st S 700 E and It quit again so I looked and fluid was pouring out the bottom of the bell housing.
Of course she has the cylinder bearing combo p.o.s. so we'll be pulling the transmission to fix it
It could have been worse, at least it made it within a few block of home so I only had to tow it a few blocks.

Of course, that's only true if the leaky hydro didn't wipe out the clutch.

It's out in the driveway to visit for a few day's

We put a new clutch and throwout bearing in when we changed out her engine last year. Have to see if it's a lifetime warranty.
