embabe said:Thanks for the tips! I guess I'm just trying to keep up with the uncles... they both have some pretty nice stuff, and one of them is rebuilding a scrambler that is completely custom! It's sooo not fair!
I've done a few trails with my uncles and my dad riding shotgun so far, but now I'm looking for something to do on my own that isn't too far of a drive. Any recommendations?
Yup, hook up with a group from here on just about any weekend, and go do Rattlesnake. Should be just enough of a challenge for you, without much risk of damage. It's nearby, maybe 15-20 minutes west of Lehi, and it should be super easy to find a group going out there. Check out the upcoming trips forum, and maybe start a thread there to see if anyone is going to go soon.embabe said:Thanks for the tips! You're in the right place, if you want to to learn. Sounds like your uncle's have some things they could teach ya too.embabe said:What I want to know is where you all learned how to do all this stuff? I am so jealous! I wish I could make cool stuff for my jeep all by myself!
I guess sewing it a slid plate wouldn't really work...

Hehe, preferably a snowy one at night.
If you want to do anything like this my roomate's got a lift in his garage. The kind you lift your car up on to work on it. We could swap those in in twenty minutes.
Hang around here and you'll learn a lot. Most of us have jeeps so we have no choice but to learn how to fix them.
