Hi guys, i'm Dave. I'm a mechanic/welder/fabricator from Hinkley, Ca. Yes, the town in the movie "Aaron Brockavich". No, I wasn't in it and no I didn't meet Julia Roberts or get a buttload of money from PG&E. I'm one of the unfortunates that didn't get any illnesses. I have had my '67 Bronco for 18 - 20 years now. A few years after I got it my wife suggested selling it. I told her "I would get rid of her before I got rid of my truck". Got divorced 10 years ago, but I still have my truck.

Welcome to the forum! I do love me some old broncos. I think you made the right choice between bronco or wife. Any woman that says it's one or the other and wants you to give up the things that make you happy in life aren't worth keeping. IMOA

Thanks for the warm welcome. Wish I could show some pic's of my rig doing the things that make peoples jaws hit the floor, like doing a wheelie on Main street in front of two city cops or interupting a couple of dirt bike riders fun and getting more air off their favorite jump and getting a standing ovation from them. Or climbing up and over an impassible section in Rainbow Canyon while pulling a truck bed trailer with a 4-cylinder diesel generator in it. Yes, I really did these things and alot more, unfortunatly none of it was caught on film. My avatar pic is the only surviving pic of my baby in her hay day. I still have the truck, but It was stolen and recovered minus the $5,000.00 motor and $2,500.00 trans. Now she sits in my yard waiting for me to come up with the funds to bring her back to life. When I do, I wont get in her without a camera.
