Another Route to explour

If any of you are going to Green River area. We, State Parks and PLEAA (Public Lands Equal Access Alliance) have a signed trail to enjoy. The trail is the Orange Trail it goes from Green River town to Salt Wash, Oil Well Wash, White Wash, Dripping Springs (Ten Mile Wash) Levi well road, Dee Pass and back to Green River, or you can do it in reverse. It is around 70 miles, with diverse terrain. This is a OHM, ATV, Jeep route. This project has been many years in the making. There are some routes on this trail that right now appear not to be roads, but they are and they are on the travel plan, they really need some riding to burn them in. Most of the trail is on roads that most on this list have driven, there are some sections that will be new to most likely all. I think Bill and those that helped sign this trail are the only ones that have been on these sections of road for many many years. The trail markings start in green river 1 block west of the Phillips 66 and Super 8 motel on the east end of town. Please go and enjoy this trail if you can. Let us know if it is marked well enough and if you find any problems. Most of this route is fairly easy, but there are a few areas of challange.
Remember the White Wash area will be CLOSED for the last 2 weeks of May for filming of a movie.

This sounds like an awesome route. Thanks for sharing this information with us.

Couple questions, what's an OHM? (Off-Highway Machine?) Also, I notice all the vehicles you mentioned are four-wheelers. Is this doable on two-wheels?

Awesome news!

More trail mileage has been added or saved by proactive user involvement than will ever be added or saved by lawsuits.
