I need some specs and ideas on how to build a anti-wrap bar (traction bar) for a 92 YJ. I,m leaning towards a ladder type bar, but having trouble find specs on how to build.

and some tubing.

the brackets go on the axle end with the poly bushings. thick wall tuning from the bottom most mount to the hiem. Notch the upper tube into the lower. Mount the shackle from a cross member and the hiem goes to the shackle

I will see if I have some pics of my old set up. all assembled

you pretty much need to build it to fit vehicle it is going on. There can be all sorts of factors that will effect it, ie; exhaust, driveline, e-brake cables, etc.

I have (had, actually in the process of trying to mod it due to my wheelbase stretch) Skyjacker's 5th link ladder bar. Easy install, comes with everything. I think I paid about $300 a few years back when I first got it. Even if you fab your own, you should check theirs out on their website or something.
