@Greg does your neck hurt as well? If it fits and you have shoulder with arm/hand nerve pains it may actually be a disc in your C spine.

Due a car wreck I was in back in June my C6-C7 was pushed/buldged/herniated so bad that I haven't been able to work or pass my employers fit for duty test. I had random shooting nerve pains down my left shoulder/arm/hand and my grip strength went from 130ish pounds to 70-75. Most of the time I felt OK, but noticed my hand was just weaker than my right side. Other times, especially if I tried to lift heavy things, it felt like a cattle prod suddenly got hooked to my nerves. I just had a disc replacement on the 14th and I haven't felt this good in years. My range of motion in my neck and both shoulders feels much better. We tested my grip strength for the first time yesterday at physical therapy, my left hand was already at 105-110, right hand was 127.

I'm not saying surgery is the answer, I have other back and shoulder issues that I'm doing everything possible to avoid that, but it might be worth it to at least get x-rays. That way you can see if anything is pinching or rubbing on a nerve in your neck if anything is out of place. Traction, dry needling, and a good chiropractor can make a big difference if there is any nerve issues.

Similar here, but not quite the same. Ended up, I had a bone spur on one of my C discs, I can't remember which one. It pinched the major nerve bundle running between my shoulders and actually ended up having that never bundle tear about 2/3 of the way though. Hurt like 100 emmeffers all the time. But my left arm and hand were useless.

Had one vertebrae removed and replaced with cadaver bone, the spur hammered and chiseled off another one, then all glued and screwed with titanium.

Can't really shoot prone anymore. But other than that, it was relief from the second I woke up in the hospital. Did as out patient. Was driving and doing light chores the next day.

Have you given physical therapy a real shot? I’ve had a few nasty injuries over the years including a shoulder injury that just wouldn’t heal. After finally committing to PT it took about 3 months of consistently doing the stretching and exercises daily and it has been pain free for a few years now. I still do the stretching and resistance exercises 3 times a week to keep my shoulders in check.

Another thing to maybe look into is BPC-157 I’ve never used it personally but I do have a few friends that rave about it for helping recover from injury along with other rehab work. It’s pretty easy to source. If it’s something you want to try hit me up and I can point you to a couple of reliable sources. Also I hear the oral stuff is junk so if you decide to try it I’d stick with injections.
Are the injectables done in a clinic or available outside of clinics?

that is a conversation that probably doesn’t fit on this forum. I figured it’s worth mentioning because we are all adults and talking about alternative forms of medicine here. Everyone should do their own research and make their own decisions. You may be able to get it through a clinic. I don’t really know, everybody I know that has used it along with many other peptides and compounded drugs They are typically acquired through what is probably safe to call the grey market.

I have done a fair amount of research on it and it’s one of those things that I’ll keep in my back pocket for when I need it for injuries, but I haven’t had the need in the past few years since it’s become more mainstream. I think it really kind of got blasted into the public eye from Joe Rogan’s podcast a few years back with him, talking about his success with it.

It does seem like it’s one of those very effective yet very cheap peptides that is seemingly being suppressed by big Pharma.

Peptides are not necessarily legal for human consumption. They can be purchased “for research use only”. A company called Swiss chems is a trusted source.
That’s not entirely true there’s several different peptides and similarly compounded drugs that are legal for human use and fda approved. The research chemical is the gray market area. These are typically brought in bulk from China illegally and sold as research chemicals as they are not categorized as controlled substances. This isn’t really legal and you soon realize that when most of these sites require you to pay with Venmo or bitcoin. But it’s not exactly illegal either. These type of sites have come and gone over the years so being a trusted site is a little bit more than just getting legitimate compound. It’s more like how do they treat your personal information and when the DEA decides to finally shut them down are you going to be put on a mass list because they have your information.
