Any good trails in Richfield?

I'm going to be in Richfield on Saturday and wanted to test out the new motor. Is there any trails out there? Or should i bring her home to St George and test there?

There is nothing really too challenging in Richfield but it you follow the water tower( big blue water tower on the hillside above town) it will lead you to the entrance of the Piaute Trail system and there are hundreds of miles of maintained and non-maintained trails. Fun to pack a lunch and cruise around for hours but again, nothing really challinging.

If you want challenging then St. George would definitely be more what you are after.

Yeah, Rod bearing went out over w4x4j. Its getting a new 6.0 now.

Crazy 8 can be real challenging some times and the next day super easy. It is a dry creek bed that gets water down it occasionaly so it is contstanly changing. It has 3 great water falls and small stretches of boulderfields. Its not very long. The trail takes me 15 min if i go Alone and About a 15 min drive to get to it.
I havent been up it since last fall so i dont know it current condition. I suspect it hasnt changed since we have had little water fall, and last fall it put up a nice challenge.

We have 3 of 4 small trails that are just local unamed trails just west of richfield before crazy 8. There are tons of random obstacles all over the west as well. I'll be around saturday if your intersted. 435-558-o8onesix. cory

I have my 3 year old two seater ready to rock. Those tires i got from newly are for my one seater. I have a build thread on here for the one seater.

All of the links here for crazy 8 seem to be dead now. Does anyone know if this is still an open trail, or happen to have a gps file?
