Any recommendations on a good diesel shop in Utah County?

I am away at school but am looking for anyone that can recommend a good diesel shop in the area (Utah county). I have a 99 Dodge Cummins that needs an oil leak fixed and the VP44 swapped out. It currently is not running so I would need to have it towed.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Not in Utah co. I send my Friends to Impact automotive on second north and 450 west s.l.c. Jeff and Justin are both excellent Mechanics and they know those trucks inside and out. 801-651-9618.

My brother who has a pretty solid background with diesels recommended RKL diesel in Springville and Utah Diesel Center in Lindon. He did add that he has heard good and bad about both. He really recommended Westside Auto in Orem but suggested to call and make sure they could handle the work as they aren't a dedicated diesel shop.

We used to take all of our fleet trucks into RKL, they do good work but we needed a faster turn around time so we just started doing pretty much everything in house.

But RKL is good.

I just used Absolute Automotive in Orem, theyre supposed to be diesel truck specialists and I wasnt overly impressed. They fixed my problem. But I believe they over charged. No breakdown on the invoice of diagnostic time & cost, parts cost, and labor. Just you owe us $600. I had a sensor that was bad and the pigtail had to be replaced as well. They didnt even use heat shrink tubing on the wiring, just wrapped it in electrical tape.

I don't have personal experience but my very good friend had an injector replaced at Utah Diesel Center. The injector died on the way home (to Springville) and they refused to warranty it. They would charge him full price to replace it again. When he had Ken Garff replace it, they said it didn't look like it had been replaced, ie there was dirt on fasteners that have to be removed to get to the injector.

I thought it was worth the drive to Gillette Diesel at the point of the mountain when I had my injectors fixed. They know their stuff and they have excellent customer service. They installed an aftermarket shift module on my truck and the module went bad. I took it back to them to fix. When I picked it up they didn't charge me anything, not even for labor.
