i need a handfull of 2" wide 20ga. strips of steel. Wasatch wants to charge me $6.00 for the material (i'm fine with that) but $85.00 to cut 12 strips 2" x 48", they charge a $13.00 set up fee, and like $1.50 per linear foot of cut, (each of the 12 cuts would be 4 linear feet)

they are also several days back-logged on shear time right now. If i paid them up front the near $100 total, i "might have it by the weekend"

this seems like a lot of time, money, and trouble for a few 2" strips of 20-gauge

any ideas?

i need them to be 20ga for sure, and i need them to be exactly 2" wide. the length isn't super specific.

I have a sheer at work. 3800 west 2100 south If you want to meet me in the morning at like 6:30 am I can cut them before I start at 7:00am

that is freaking awesome, i work at 2300 s. 2300 w.
i will need to go back down to wasatch and get the material, my lunch is over already, i'll need to do it tomorrow. and meet you friday. unless you have some 20ga scrap laying around i can buy off you
