Holy crabcakes!

That's pretty slick... is it working alright? Anything binding, not doing what he wanted, etc etc???

He should sell those.

He looked into it and the welding alone kills it. He has more done than what's posted. Jared figures he has about 14+ write-ups to do on this. You'd soil your pants if you knew where his muffler and ARB pump are.

Very nice work. I might have to talk to him when it comes time for my grand to grow a little more. Where are his muffler and ABS pump?

Sweet.

I respect and admire the effort, but at some point, you have to cut your losses and realize that you are putting all that time and effort into a 5500 lb sherman 4x4.

Now to go and run an actual trial. Poser flex pics don't mean it works ;D

Unfortnatuly my brother has very little play time right now. Everything seems to work just fine. He'll be posting the ARB location write up soon. Right Jared?

Well......he said only after he has more of the rear done and the muffler installed. He's watchin this thread, so keep bugging him/me about it.

dammit. I'm not a patient man. Oh well.
Thats a great right up. I have been toying with the idea of doing this to my 5.9 when it grows another inch or so. I really like his rear four link, and I'm very curious where his muffler ends up. I can't figure out where I'd put mine if I go this way.

I'm with Cody on this one. Lots of work into something that big, well to each his own I guess. The work on it looks good. I had a friend with a long arm kit that looked close to this, worked really well. Is your brother getting rid of the front dana 30 I hope. The weight of the ZJ broke my friends front dana 44 a few times. Good luck with it.

You have to look at it from my perspective...

I take my family (wife and 3 kids) camping and 4 wheeling. This way I get a rig that will ride great on the road and run smooth off road.

The rig is going to be built up fairly stout, but I am keeping my D30 and 44A until they fail.

Yes I definitely need some real action shots. However It would need to be able to move it to get some good pics.

I have been very busy with work (a good thing) and have not been able to do much lately.

I do appreciate the nice comments

I'll get a writeup done one of these days. I like the ARB location.

I did move the solenoid and air line out into the engine compartment. This way the compressor is protected and kept clean and the solenoid can drip oil outside not on my wiring...that was not cool.

The muffler is not installed yet, but this is where it is going to be.

No, I was drunk and pissy. I think the ZJ is awesome and I think it's awesome the engineering you're putting into it. If you need a family hauler, I don't think there is any better rig.

It looks great and it seems like you know what you're doing since you've gone through a couple stages already. I remember your other suff from last year.

For some people, going to that extent, and redoing, and redoing until it's right can be costly and frustrating. I think for those people, buying Clayton's or Kevins kit is a better idea since it's proven and ready to go. But, if you have the time, resources, and know how doing something like you did is awesome and fulfilling.

S you are ging to run a small stright through style muffler? Cool... watch the heat on the plastic bumper. I've got a big plastic booger on my 5.9 tip from a kid who decided he needed to smack into my jeep in a parking lot. Thoe bumpers melt fairly easy.

Next question, where is that compressor... I know I recognise that location, but I'm drawing a blank... one of thoes things that I know I've looked at, but I don't know where. Isit under the dash? Behind the dash?

I'm planning on putting a compressor where the stock air intake box is now. That will come oafter my free hood scoop and custom intake assembly. I didn't really want a custom hood look, but I want to free up some space, and get some more air flow into the motor. I'd love to check this thing out in person sometime. let me know when you get it done, or if you need ahand wrenching sometime.
Nice ZJ dude... great work. I even like the color.

Edit Damn... just noticed you are in idaho. Lemm know if you get it done for easter. I'd love to see it live.
