By rebuild I mean cleaned flushed rust free and re-lined. My toy tank is givving me rust fits. It keeps clogging the carb and I am sick of it. a new tank is close to 400$. A fuel cell is also an option but I am wondering about the stock tank getting cleaned.
Anyone had a gastank rebuilt?

Friend of mine used the stuff from Eastwood Co.. Which washed it out then had a lining solution also.

I bought a new one for my 87 chev from jmac radiator on state & 3300 s, for 200$ and that was for a EFI tank. if that is not a option build one, jeramy on the board built one for his cj, I think he said he built it out of 11 gauge steel, & it turned out sweet, and if you build one, you can relocate it, or make it bigger or smaller or rounder or longer or squarer or you can just keep some bubble gum in the truck to use when the old one starts to leak, it's all gooooood

J-mac does it, they charge by the gallon. I had a 30 gallon tank done for about 100.

Go for the fuel cell, they start at about 100.00 dollars on summitracing.com and they got rollover valves built in. I love mine!!!
